The Lord Who Fights For You
"You shall not fear them, for it is the LORD your God who fights for you." Deuteronomy 3:22
It's emboldening to know that you have someone who is always in your corner and prepared to stand up and fight for you.
When Moses led God's people into the promised land, he faced many enemy armies. At this critical moment, God manifested himself to Moses as the Lord who fights for you.
What enemy armies are you facing? Whatever your seemingly insurmountable obstacles, God wants you to know three things: he is with you, he is for you, and he is fighting for you.
No matter what forces seem to be working against you, they don't stand a chance because God is fighting for you.
This is who God is--he's the God who fights for you, and you can trust him.
Lord God Almighty, I am overwhelmed to realize that you are with me, that you are for me, and that you fight for me. In Jesus' name. Today I take hold of you as the one who fights for me.
