Holy Is His Name
"I am the LORD your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy... You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” Leviticus 11:44-45
When God says, I am holy, there is only one appropriate response--for you to say, "I am holy".
God's holy requires your holy.
Every time God says, I am, you can expect the next words to be highly consequential.
God never wastes an I am.
God's I am is his way of preparing you to receive a mother load of revelation.
Holy means special, set apart, rare, uncommon, and belonging to God. When God looks at you and says, holy, it's his way of saying, Mine. From now on you are mine.
God's name is holy, and when he reveals his name holy to you, from that moment on you too are holy You are his. You now belong to him.
Loving Father, you are holy. Your name is holy. And today I declare myself holy to you. I belong to Christ. Spirit, soul, and body I am holy.
