Better Praise

Better Praise

"The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him." Exodus 15:2

True praise and worship is locking on to God's name, and giving his name the praise it deserves.

The better you know God's name, the better you praise him.

When Moses experienced the miraculous exodus of God from Egypt and the miraculous victory of God over the army of Egypt, he encountered the name of God on a whole new level. The three facets of God's name--Strength, Song, and Salvation--became the basis for a level of exuberant corporate praise that was infectious. It rallied the entire masses of two million Israelites to stand up and dance before the Lord.

Your praise will never exceed your appreciation for God's name.

More than a miracle, what you need is a fresh encounter with the name, and miracles will follow.

Loving Father, I come in Jesus' name. Jesus is my Strength. My Song. My Salvation. Today I praise and exalt your name.
