Great In Might
"There is none like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is great in might." Jeremiah 10:6
You will often feel the inadequacy of your own name--that's the way God designed it, so that you might reach for a name that is all together adequate.
To declare God's name to be great in might is saying his name is not just powerful, but all-powerful. Not just mighty, but all-mighty. There is none like God's name in strength. Potency. Bravery. Gallantry.
When you feel weak, inadequate, even insignificant, don't forget the name that is strong, fully adequate, and all together significant--the name that is great in might.
When you are weak, God's name is strong.
When you are beaten down, God's name will lift you up.
When you feel insecure and inadequate, God's name is great in might.
Father God, I find my strength today in your great name. I declare that there is none like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is great in might.
