Preach The Name
"They believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ." Acts 8:12
Good preaching always preaches the name.
Phillip was smart--he preached the name. He knew God's people needed the name. They feed on the name. They are protected by the name. They are delivered and set free by the name. They are nurtured and discipled by the name.
If you want to preach the good news, you will preach the name.
If you are going to preach the Bible, you will preach the name because the Bible preaches the name.
And if you are going to preach the kingdom of God, you will preach the name.
Notice when Philip preached the name, people believed. Faith is activated when you preach the name.
If you are a parent, teach and preach the power of God's name.
If you lead a Bible study or small group, preach and teach the name.
And watch people's faith come alive!
Father God, I receive your faith giving name. Empower me to pray the name. Preach the name. Teach the name. Live the name.
