The Life
The Life
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
The reason Jesus identified himself as the Life was not for his benefit, but for yours. Jesus wants to awaken you to the Life he has for you. He wants you to meet him in a whole new way.
Whether you know it or not, without Jesus you are dead. Yes, until Jesus manifests himself to you as Life, you are a walking, talking, breathing dead person. When your human spirit is dead, you are dead at the core of your being. Sure, your body is alive, but when your spirit is dead, you are empty. Hollow.
There may be nothing that proves the power of God's name more than when Jesus manifests himself to you as the Life--the one who makes your spirit alive, the one who raises you from the dead, so you can be born again. Born again at the core.
When the apostle Paul encountered the Life, he said, "For me to live is Christ" (Philippians 1:21.)
God wants you to encounter Jesus as Life, so you too can be born again and come alive inside.
Jesus is the only one who can bring your spirit to life. He is not one of many options. He is the Life, the one and only Life.
Would you take Jesus today as Life?
Life is who Jesus is, and it's who he wants to be to you.
Lord Jesus, I take you today as Life. You are my Life. Make my spirit alive today in Jesus name. Manifest your life-giving presence inside of me now. I receive your Life.
