Love Infusion
“God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:5
When the Holy Spirit pours God's love into your heart, it's more than a good feeling. It's an encounter.
Love is God's name, so when you experience God's love, you encounter his nature, his character, his presence.
This verse gives a graphic description of a visceral encounter with the living God. It describes an experience God wants you to have not just once, but continually. It doesn't simply say that God has poured his love into our hearts, one and done. It says that God has been pouring his love into us continually.
Notice that the pouring of God's love happens supernaturally--through the Holy Spirit. This means that this infusion is not based on your effort, or merit, or achievement. It is done wholly by God, the Holy Spirit himself. All you need to do is let him have his way. Receive it.
Right now is your opportunity to receive a fresh infusion of God's love by the power of the Holy Spirit. Wait no longer.
Yes, Father, right now have your way in me. I receive the infusion of the love of Jesus Christ into my heart by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
