The Name for Conquerors
The Name for Conquerors
“The one who conquers… I will write on him the Name of my God.” Revelation 3:12
God is a God of honor, and his church is a house of honor. When believers win battles, conquer kingdoms, overthrow enemies, and evict Satan in the Name, God gives them the honor of having his Name somehow imprinted on them. What an honor!
When God inscribes his Name so deeply on your life that you defeat enemies in his Name, he proudly and indelibly imprints on you his Name.
In what area is God calling you to conquer in his Name today? You have any number of possible battle-lines from which to choose-- bad habits, stubborn sin, chronic fear, self-loathing, addiction, shame, bitterness, envy, jealousy, arrogance, mean-spiritedness, anger.
Pick just one of these enemies from the list above. Declare the Name over that area. This is your opportunity to discover the power of the Name. You have not been able to conquer that enemy in your name, but today you will conquer it in Jesus Name.
Loving Father, I identify my enemy as… [name it!]. You know I have failed to defeat this enemy in my own strength, but today I come against this in the Name, and I declare my victory in Jesus Name.
