Exalt His Name

Exalt His Name

“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:3

God made you for one ultimate purpose—to exalt his Name. Think of it-- exalting God’s Name is your highest calling. And as challenging as this may be to believe, he has made you good at it.

The word exalt is the Hebrew word rum, which means to set on high, to raise, uplift.
Picture the players of a winning team hoisting their coach on their shoulders as they celebrate the sweet victory. Similarly, you are invited to hoist the Name of Christ on your shoulders. Celebrate his victory, and savor the moment. What an honor.

Exalting the Name is worth practicing. God wants you to get proficient at exalting his Name. After all, it is your life calling. While a team gets to celebrate a victory only on game day, you and I get to celebrate the exaltation of Christ every day. And we get to do it together.
Now hoist the Name of Christ on your shoulders and lift him high!

Loving Father, today I exalt your Name. I lift you on my shoulders and lift you high in Jesus Name.
