The Weapon of All-Prayer
The Weapon of All-Prayer
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Ephesians 6:18
A Roman soldier only had six pieces of armor, but we as followers of Christ have an additional seventh piece of armor that makes our armor superior in every way. Having taken the belt, breastplate, shoes, shield, helmet, and sword, we now take the piece of the armor known as all-prayer. Because we pray in the Holy Spirit, we have access to all prayer at every moment. As we take Christ as our indwelling Intercessor, we have in Him continuous access to every prayer we will need on every occasion.
Don’t allow the enemy to accuse you of having an anemic or impotent prayer life. While there is always room for improvement in everyone’s prayer life, it’s hard to grow in prayer from a position of defeat. Christ gives you the weapon of all-prayer so that you might win.
Father God, today I praise You for my indwelling intercessor, the Lord Jesus Christ. Teach me to pray, and teach me to pray in the Spirit with all-prayer. Amen.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world country and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Liechtenstein and Illinois.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
