A Promise For You
A Promise For You
I will not leave you or forsake you. Joshua 1:5
God wants to manifest His presence to you in every life situation. Because the promises of God are a means by which God wants to encounter you, there are promises of God waiting for you today.
Joshua is one of the most productive, dynamic leaders in the entire Bible. He made it a habit of praying the promises of God.
Toward the beginning of His leadership, God spoke to Joshua extensively, and Joshua took these words to heart. When God said to Joshua, “I will not leave you or forsake you,” God was not talking about His omnipresence. God’s omnipresence was with everyone equally. The particular presence that God promised to Joshua was His manifest presence.
This promise to Joshua is also a promise to every believer in Christ. The manifest presence of Christ, is promised to each of us and we can bank on it every day.
Father God, I praise You that You promise to manifest Your presence to me daily—to never leave me or forsake me. Hallelujah! What a promise!
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Kiribati and South Dakota.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
