Ever-Expanding Kingdom
“Of the increase of his government and of peace, there will be no end.” Isaiah 9:7
The kingdom of God is not static, and it is never dormant. The kingdom of God, on the other hand, is always alive, dynamic, and ever-expanding.
Human history records countless examples of dictators who became increasingly vicious and extraordinarily violent as their domain increased. In stark contrast, we are promised that with the ever-expanding kingdom of Christ, there will not only be an increase to his government, but also an increase of his peace. Hallelujah!
Today God wants to expand the rule and reign of Christ in your life in ever-increasing proportion. You never want to allow Christ’s kingdom to become static or dormant in your life. He calls you today to receive his ever-expanding kingdom so that you might experience his ever-increasing peace.
Loving Father, I welcome the increased influence of the Holy Spirit in my life that I might experience your ever-expanding kingdom and your ever-increasing peace in Jesus’ name.
