Prepare For Pentecost Sunday
Prepare For Pentecost Sunday
“Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.” Joel 2:13
The call of God to return to the Lord your God is based on the God-promise of God’s character— for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.
Today is only five days from Pentecost Sunday. The prophet Joel was the prophet of the Holy Spirit who promised, “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,” (Joel 2:28) which was fulfilled on Pentecost. In preparation for Pentecost, Joel gave God’s people a call— return to the Lord.
It’s time to prepare for Pentecost 2022. If your heart has drifted from God, if you have not been consistently encountering God’s manifest presence in your daily life, if you have neglected your love relationship with him, it’s time to return to God.
Loving Father, I return to you today because of the promise that your character is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love, and relenting of disaster. I return to you with all my heart in Jesus’ name.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Iran and Nevada.
