Knowing Christ
Knowing Christ
The surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Philippians 3:8
If you know Christ, it is only appropriate to want to know Him better.
The Apostle Paul certainly knew Christ, but he was not content to simply be saved and to know that when he died he would go to heaven. He had a hunger to know Christ better. There was nothing more valuable in the Apostle Paul’s life than “the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus.”
The greatest deposit God will ever make in your life is the knowledge of Christ. He wants every day to download a richer deposit of the knowledge of Christ daily. And He wants you to pursue His manifest presence with all your heart.
Father God, I say with the Apostle Paul, “I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”
