The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. Luke 1:35
Happy Pentecost Sunday!
Confidence in the Trinity—One God, three Persons—is essential to effective prayer.
When Christ’s birth was announced to Mary, of One God, three Persons was present. Father God sent the Son. Son God was sent. Spirit God activated Christ in Mary’s womb. Not only did Father, Son, Holy Spirit work together in Jesus birth, this is precisely how the One God, three Persons continues to eternally function.
The Father is always sending the Son. The Son is always being sent. The Spirit of God is always activating the Son.
Hallelujah to the One True God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
