Cheerful Giving
Cheerful Giving
“For God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
Cheerful giving is humanly impossible. Hoarding, stinginess, and miserliness come naturally; giving, generosity, extravagance, and giving cheerfully are a miracle.
God loves a cheerful giver, and anyone who gives cheerfully knows they are truly loved by God.
And that is a promise.
Loving Father, I receive the grace of cheerful giving. Develop in me a lifestyle of generosity as I trust the promises of God.
