They Call Him Holy
They Call Him Holy
"And one called to another and said: 'Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!'” Isaiah 6:3
The word that's heard most frequently in heaven is holy.
Holy is not only an attribute of God, holy is the sum total of God's attributes. And more than that, Holy is his name.
The angels never stop saying, Holy. From the moment they were created a minimum of a trillion years ago, they have never stopped slapping high-fives, and shouting, "Holy!
You are holy. Holy is the Lord." They don't look for a synonym. They're not concerned about repetition. They never stop marveling at Holy. And they never will.
One of the characteristics of revival through the ages of church history is that when the manifest presence of Christ comes, the people spontaneously erupt with shouts of Holy. And they don't stop for hours.
It's time to include Holy in your extended times of prayer and worship.
Holy. Holy. Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was Holy, who is Holy, who will forever be Holy. Holy is your name.
