The One On My Side
The One On My Side
"The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The LORD is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me." Psalm 118:6-7
Sometimes you don't need a word from God, or a dramatic manifestation from him; sometimes all you need is to know he is there. And he's there to help.
When you're feeling alone and rejected by people, it is empowering to realize that God is the one on your side.
He's not only on your side, he is officially your Helper. He doesn't stand there idly, he pitches in and helps.
Today, don't look down at the challenges beneath your feet. Don't look around at the things that threaten. And whatever you do, don't look back at what could have been.
Look at your side--there is One standing next to you who is on your side, and he's there to help.
Father God, forgive me for neglecting you, for feeling abandoned. Forsaken. I repent, and I take you now as the One on my side. Be my Helper in Jesus' name.
