The One Who Is For Me
The One Who Is For Me
"This I know, that God is for me." Psalm 56:9
You can live your whole life feeling like God is against you. But that's a lie.
God is for you.
There may be nothing more important for you to understand about God than this: he is for you.
The reality of God being for us was so important to the Psalmist that he preceded the declaration with the three words, This I know. The fact that God was for him, was not a theory; it was a certainty.
Can you say with certainty, This I know, that God is for me?
Don't continue to believe a lie. God truly is for you. And he proved it in Jesus.
Loving Father, I repent of believing a lie--that you are against me. Forgive me for my bitterness and resentment toward you for those things that have gone against me. Today I repent and I now know that you truly are for me in Jesus' name.
