Your Name and Your Arm

Your Name and Your Arm

"They shall hear of your great name and your mighty hand, and of your outstretched arm." 1 Kings 8:42

God's mighty hand and outstretched arm draw a crowd, but keep in mind that God's name always precedes his hand and his arm. Always.

When you pray you want to see God's hand providing for you and his strong arm at work. But don't forget that his name goes first.

If you want God's hand and arm without giving priority to God's name, you are in trouble at the heart of your prayer life. And it's time to repent.

Wanting to see God's mighty hand and his outstretched arm is a righteous desire. Just don't desire his power without his presence. God's great name brings God's great presence, and when his presence comes, his hand and arm are near.

Loving Father, I love your great name, and I come to declare your great name. Manifest your presence today, and show your mighty hand and your outstretched arm in Jesus' name.
