The Name That Opens Heaven
“When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin... then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants." 1 Kings 8:35-36
When heaven seems shut up, like your prayers aren't being heard, as if no one is listening, don't drift into unbelief. Acknowledge the name.
The name of God brings faith because the name brings the presence.
Every adversity you face is an opportunity to acknowledge God's name, and prove that God's name attracts God's attention.
When Solomon brought the ark into the temple, and dedicated the temple, he knew that his nation would certainly face seasons of drought, famine, and hardship. And he knew they would need an antidote--a way to get through to heaven.
God's name opens heaven.
God's name gives you access to breakthrough prayer.
Father God, I come in Jesus' name. I come to receive breakthrough. I come to receive an open heaven.
