He Listens For His Name

He Listens For His Name

"You have said, ‘My name shall be there,’ that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place." 1 Kings 8:29

When Solomon dedicated the temple, he set it apart as a house of prayer and as a place to carry the name. These two are forever inseparable--prayer and the name. The presence and the name.

If you want to attract God's attention when you pray, use the name. God's name should dominate your prayers just as much as God's name dominated the temple.

It's the name that attracts the presence.

When God looks at your prayer time, he says to you, My name shall be there.

Father God, I come into your presence with your name. I declare your name over my time with you today. Now, Lord, listen to my prayer and manifest your presence in Jesus' name.
