Lamp
Lamp
"For you are my lamp, O LORD, and my God lightens my darkness." 2 Samuel 22:29
Lamp. A unique and strategic facet of God's name.
Lamp not only goes before you to light your path, and sits above you to keep you safe and secure, but Lamp lives within you to drive out darkness and deliver you from evil.
When David was delivered by God from the Philistine armies, and from the hatred of Saul, he sang a song to the Lamp. He knew the reality of the illumination and supernatural revelation of God's manifest presence.
Take Christ today as your Lamp--the one who drives out enemy darkness and deception around you, as well as dispels the darkness and deception within.
Yes, Father God, I take Christ today as my Lamp, my God who lightens my darkness.
