My Lord, My Provider

My Lord, My Provider

"Abraham called the name of that place, 'The LORD will provide.'” Genesis 22:14

God wants to encounter you as your Provider.

The Lord your Provider, or in Hebrew, Jehovah Jireh.

When Abraham mounted the slopes of Moriah, he knew that he was responsible to obediently sacrifice his son, his only son, the miracle child, Issac, whom he loved. What he didn't realize was that God would manifest himself as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord, Provider.

During one of the most extraordinary moments of God's interactions with his people, Abraham encountered the Lord, Provider.

Now it's your turn.

Take the Lord as your Provider. Trust him to provide for you everything you need. Trust him today. Trust him tomorrow. Trust him the next day.

He wants you to know him as the Lord, your Provider, and the only way to know him as Provider is to know him by experience.

Lord Jesus, I take you as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord my Provider. I trust you to provide for all my needs.
