I Am Your Reward
“Fear not, Abram, I am your... reward." Genesis 15:1
In order to defeat fear, you need a force that is greater than your fear. You need the name.
Money problems cause more fear and anxiety than just about anything. Fear over your lack of income. Fear over the bills that keep piling up. Fear that your investments won't yield the results you're counting on.
All of a sudden, in the middle of your anxiety attack, God reveals his name--Reward. Everything suddenly changes. All fear is gone. I am your Reward. I am your Provider--the one who signs your checks. Your financial planner. More than simply a pay-check, I am your Reward. I give you myself.
Have you taken Jesus as your Reward? Your Provider?
And as proof of taking Jesus as your Reward, has God's name delivered you from your financial fears?
Jesus, today I take you as my Reward, my great Reward. Deliver me now from my financial fears in Jesus name.
