His Name, His Virtue
"[I] give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness." Psalm 138:2
When you encounter God's name, you get to draw from the endless resource of God's virtues.
Think of it--every facet of God's name is a doorway into one or more of God's virtues, because every facet of God's name is linked to God's virtues.
His name is Love; receive his affection.
His name is Redeemer; receive his forgiveness.
His name is Truth; receive his integrity.
Today as you exalt the name of Christ, be sure to download his corresponding virtues. Receive his love. Grace. Faithfulness. Mercy. Goodness. Steadfastness. Patience.
As you give thanks to his name, receive his virtue.
Father God, I give thanks to you name--I exalt your name forever. And I receive from your virtue in Jesus name.
