His Inexhaustible Name
His Inexhaustible Name
"...that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise." Psalm 106:47
When God's name becomes as significant to you as it is in reality, his name will become your praise.
Life is full of things with which we become overly impressed. We're enamored with our new car, and then it breaks down. We're enthralled with our new TV, until it's too small. We're excited about our new laptop, but soon it's too slow. Virtually everything in our world comes with an expiration date.
But not God's name.
Praise the Lord! It's impossible to be overly impressed with God's name.
God's name will never lose its appeal. It will never break down, seem too small, or respond too slowly. You'll never need to trade it in for a newer model. God's name has no expiration date.
The more you give thanks to his name, the more you will glory in his praise.
Father God, your name is my glory. My praise. My joy. My fountain. Your name is inexhaustible.
