"Call upon his name." Psalm 105:1
Don't underestimate the significance of calling on God's name.
When you call upon his name you are doing more than simply mentioning his name at the end of your prayer, you are summoning his attention, commissioning his activity, and actually inviting his presence to manifest right down the middle of your life.
When you need a plumber, you call a plumber. When you need a doctor, you call a doctor. And when you need God, you call on his name.
You call; God comes.
No busy signal. No answering machine. No call waiting. No monthly fees.
Call upon his name now. Call often.
Talk long. Talk short.
Just call.
Father God, I love your name and I love calling on your name. I love your accessibility, your responsiveness, and I love your voice. Come now and manifest yourself to me now in Jesus name.
