Your Name Is Near

Your Name Is Near

"We give thanks, for your name is near." Psalm 75:1

God wants you to discover the secret that when you appropriately use God's name, you significantly encounter God.

The reason God reveals to you his name is so that you can encounter him.

The Psalmist said it this way: your name is near. In other words, when you use God's name in prayer, you can say, your name brings you near.

There is no greater feeling than the nearness of God's presence.

Every time you use God's name, God wants you to know his nearness--to be confident of the nearness of his presence.

Lord Jesus, today I give thanks to your name. Your name brings you near. I enjoy your manifest presence with me because I have your name.
