The Name Worth Waiting For

The Name Worth Waiting For

"I will wait for your name, for it is good." Psalm 52:9

When you discover how potent and powerful God's name is, you will learn that it's worth waiting for.

When David declared, I will wait for your name, he was explaining the posture of his heart. It was a posture he practiced frequently, because he learned that every breakthrough he needed came from the same source--the name of God.

The word wait literally means to be bound with a chord in eager expectation.

When you need a breakthrough, don't wait on your spouse, because they may not come through. Don't wait on your boss, or neighbor, or friend. Wait on God, and more specifically wait on the name of God, and you will be bound with a chord to his name in eager expectation.

If you want to discover just how good God's name is, wait til his name gives you the breakthrough. God's name will bind you to hope in eager expectation.

Father God, I come in Jesus name. As I wait for my breakthrough, bind me to your good name.
