Protected In The Name
"The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe." Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is not only an offensive weapon to use when you advance the Kingdom of God, it is also your place of refuge and security when you need to escape the battle, shake off your fears, and get some rest.
Think of it: the name of the Lord is a strong tower, which means it clears the atmosphere from enemy forces and gives you a higher vantage point and greater visibility.
The righteous man runs into it and is safe means that when you run into the mighty name of Christ you are guaranteed protection on all sides.
This promise is for you.
This is an easy verse to memorize and a useful verse you can apply to your life daily.
Father God, today I take your name as my strong tower, and I run into it for safety, protection and peace. I rest in the shelter of your mighty name.
