A Place For His Name

A Place For His Name

"You shall seek the place that the LORD your God will choose...to put his name and make his habitation there." Deuteronomy 12:5

God selects real estate for one expressed purpose--to put his name on the property.

When God selected the property to give to his people of Israel, not just any real estate would do. He wanted the best. He chose a prime slice of real estate, the filet mignon so to speak, smack dab in the heart of the Middle East. And guess what he did? God put his name on this piece of real estate.

Today, God is in the process of regaining territorial rights to every square acre of the earth, so that he can once again put his name on all of it.

He wants to put his name on it, because wherever he puts his name, he makes his habitation.

Has God put his name on you? He wants his name on you, so he can make you his habitation.

Has he put his name on your family? He wants his name on your family, so he can make your family his habitation.

And what about your church--has God put his name on your church? He certainly wants to put his name on your church, so he can make your church his habitation.

Loving Father, stamp your name on me, my family, my church family, and make us your holy habitation, in Jesus name.
