His Name On Your Job Description
His Name On Your Job Description
"The LORD set apart the tribe of Levi... to stand before the LORD to minister to him and to bless in his name." Deuteronomy 10:8
Imagine if your boss put on your job description as part of your daily responsibility to bless the name of the Lord. Ok, now quit imagining.
God put on the job description of everyone in the entire priestly tribe of Israel--hundreds of thousands of people--to stand before the LORD to minister to him and to bless in his name.
You are now part of the royal priesthood of the New Testament, which means that whether you realize it or not, God's name and blessing his name is actually on your job description.
Just let that sink in.
Yes, you are not only called, you are anointed to stand before the Lord. To minister to the Lord. And to bless his name.
This is not only on your daily job description, it's the most important part of your job description--the most important thing you have to do every day.
Ministering to God's name is your highest calling.
Loving Father, I seize my calling to minister every day to your name. This is my highest calling--my highest honor.
