The Door Of Promise
The Door Of Promise
"I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture." John 10:9
Every facet of God's name is a promise. When God reveals to you his name, he is making the promise that he will live up to the name. Always. No exceptions.
When Jesus identifies his name, I am the door, he follows it up with the promise, If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
This is why God's name always activates an encounter with him. When God manifests himself to you as the Door, he is instantly extending to you an invitation to experience the reality of what that means. He wants you to enter into God's manifest presence, to be saved from a life without him, and to come and go each moment of every day in his green, lush, safe, fulfilling pastures.
When you come to Jesus, the Door, you are promised to discover more than you ever imagined.
Don't waste the name and don't waste a promise. When God manifests his name to you, he is manifesting his presence.
Jesus never locks his door. And that's a promise!
Lord Jesus, the Door--my Door. Today I enter into your presence by your name, and I take my place of rest, provision, protection, peace, prosperity, and blessing.
