The 1000 Carat Diamond
The 1000 Carat Diamond
“Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord!” Psalm 113:1
The Name of God is like a 1000 carat diamond—His Name is a single diamond with 100,000 facets. Nowhere in scripture will you find the name of God plural; it is always singular. Always.
There is a popular, yet unfortunate trend, to talk of God's Name in the plural. But God is One and his Name is One. It is far better to see God's Name like 1000 carat diamond with 100,000 facets to his singular, solitary Name.
As you begin the New Year, declare over it the Name of the Lord your God.
From the first day of the New Year until the last, the Name of the Lord is to be praised!
Like a giant diamond, the Name of the Lord glistens with the radiance of Christ.
As you praise His Name, his radiance and his glory is revealed.
“Praise” is the Hebrew word Hallel which means to shine, flash forth light, celebrate and boast. As you praise the Name, you receive the blessing of living under the splendor of his Presence.
Every day in 2026, we will be focusing on the Name of God.
Remember- the Name of the Lord does not lead you to an encounter; the Name of the Lord IS an encounter with Christ.
